Abriendo las puertas en Noviembre 11, 2005, Aureliano y Reyna Brito tomaron la decision de aventurar fuera de su ya establecido negocio de La Cecina #1 el las calles 47 y Damen en el sur de Chicago.

Abrieron La Cecina #2 en la Avenida Burnham y años despues abrieron La Cecina #3 en Dyer, IN. 

​

Su mision fue traer la comida mas autentica que el Medio Oeste tiene para ofrecer a las comunidades que sirven. Con cada platillo, usted se sintira como si estuviera sentado/a en la mesa de cena de Doña Nicacia y Doña Maria (Madres de Reyna y Aureliano respectivamente), ansiosamente esperando las tortillas hechas a mano y la salsa de Molcajete recien hecha.

Opening its doors on November 11, 2005, Aureliano and Reyna Brito took a leap and ventured out of their already well established business La Cecina on 47th and Damen, on the Southside of Chicago.

 

They opened La Cecina #2 on Burnham Avenue and a few years later they opened La Cecina #3 in Dyer, IN.

 

Their goal is to bring the most authentic Mexican cuisine the Midwest has to offer to the communities they serve. With every dish you feel like you will feel like you are sitting at the dining table of Doña Nicacia and Doña Maria (mothers of Reyna and Aureliano respectively), anxiously awaiting those handmade tortillas and fresh made Salsa de Molcajete.
